Second grade uses an interdisciplinary, developmental curriculum based on standards. Social Studies and Science themes are integrated throughout the Language Arts program offering students an authentic learning experience. The Everyday Mathematics program draws on real-life experiences and hands-on manipulatives to increase student learning. The second grade curriculum is academically challenging and it encourages children to be successful, independent learners in preparation for elementary school.
