Greetings from The American School Foundation of Monterrey, Home of the Eagles!
The Elementary School grades Nursery – 5th will welcome the 2010-11 academic year in a new state of the art campus located in the scenic Huasteca Canyon, at the foothills of the Sierra Madre Oriental. The ASFM community is very excited about this landmark event, which culminates many years of planning and successful fiscal management of the school’s resources. We look forward to a bright future as we strive towards our vision of improved student learning through the delivery of a well-researched curriculum, based on best practice instructional strategies. We are equally concerned with creating the kind of school environment that supports the development of core and cross-cultural values, as well as civic and global responsibility in our students. Our staff includes teachers from Mexico, Canada and the United States. Their talent and dedication is a daily tribute to the profession, and to their students. We are very proud to belong to an institution that places teaching and learning at the heart of all decision-making.
