Overview
ASFM has a limited wireless network in both of its
campuses. The use of this network is primarily for teachers to facilitate
instruction throught flexible access to the network. Students access the wireless network on school laptops in both campuses. Students in MSHS Campus can now bring their own personal devices for use in ASFM-WiFi (a special filtered, public access point in the Library).

Connecting to Wireless Network
In order to connect using any Mac laptop with OS-X, click on the
Airport icon and select the appropriate network. (see diagram at left
of this page)
- Teachers - use Teachers network
- Students - use Students network (with ASFM machines)
- Students - use ASFM-WiFi (with personal devices)
Students in MSHS Campus can now bring their own personal devices for use in ASFM-WiFi. In order to enter the wireless, students will need to determine the MAC address of their Macintosh or Windows computers, register that address in PowerSchool, wait one week for the activation, then use the service. This privilege can be revoked at any time. Your activity may/can be monitored. Please use this service for educational purposes only.
