If you want to be able to do presentations using PowerPoint, demonstrate some software, view some demonstration, or you want to display a big screen movie, book a data projector.

  • Suggested Uses - See Chart Below
  • Booking
    • All bookings/reservations must be tracked for two main reasons:
      • easy method to find absent projectors and last user
      • determine usage statistics which informs purchasing for the following year
    • Go to our Bookings page to find details of booking data projectors at your campus
  • Video Cables / Connections
    • video signal passes through a short or a long VGA cable from the computer to the data projector (all carts come with these cables)
    • video signal can be passed through an RCA cable from a DVD or VCR to the data projector (order from Audiovisual Dept. if needed)

    • How to use mirroring:
      • System Preferences >> Displays
      • switch to Arrangment tab
      • Turn off Mirroring (gives you two desktops)

    • to get more detail in images increase resolution to 1024x768
    • widescreen laptops will need resolution adjustment to not distort/stretch the displayed image
    • If displaying text from a web browser, you can make the text larger with Apple-+
  • Directions for use:
