Policy
Beware of the following limitations/guidelines:
- staff have a limit of 2GB in their user account (pictures add
significantly to this amount)
- please do not use email to send original size photos
Burning Photos on CD
If you want to burn a CD to share with someone else,
please beware of the following:
- DO NOT USE the burn CD icon in iPhoto (it will create a photo
CD which is really only usable by someone else with iPhoto)
- Instead follow these steps:
- go to a computer with a CD burner and login
- in the Finder, go to File>>New Burn Folder
- select the photos or album that you wish to burn, and drag your
photos to the burn folder
- iPhoto will then copy the photos to that folder
- switch back to the Finder, and drag the burn folder to the trash
- you will be prompted to burn the cd at which point, you will
put in a burnable CD-R disk
