The
room mothers organization is the back bone of the PTA. Thanks to
the valuable help of these volunteers
is that we can have a very efficient communication tree of information
and we can provide help to each and every classroom.
The communication
tree starts with the general room mother coordinator, she has
three area coordinators; in turn these three have their grade
coordinators and they have their eight classroom headroom mothers.
The information flows up and down the communication tree in such
a way that everyone is informed.

Each
classroom has a headroom mother and four room mothers to help out.
The headroom
mother prepares the class list with basic information - telephone,
cel phone and e-mail of the children and their mom to distribute
during open houses. Together with the room moms they are in charge
of organizing the classroom parties held during the year and providing
any help the teacher might need during the year, especially with
finding transportation for the field trips.
