Sheryl Bridgeman
Grade 5 Teacher
1999-2006

January 2001.

My name is Sheryl Bridgeman and I am currently a 5th grade teacher here at ASFM.  My husband and I are both teaching 5th grade and we have 3 children in this school.   We are from Lloydminster, Alberta Canada and this is our third year here at this school.

This school community could be described by the following few statements: The students are enthusiastic learners and extremely social beings.  The staff is highly professional, hard working, and committed. The parents are very involved and supportive.

This is a professionally active and stimulating environment in which to work.  The staff is continuously involved in many projects and initiatives aimed at enhancing or improving various aspects of the instructional program and the services we provide to the families whose children attend this school.
We have found this school and community to be like our family here in Monterrey. As well as supportive teachers and administrators, the community has organizations to help welcome new comers to the area.

The climate provides for many opportunities for outdoor activities.  We do a lot of hiking in the mountains, and there is constantly an organized type of sport going on at the school during the week days.

ASFM is an institution that allows you to challenge yourself both professionally and personally.
