Alyson and I have been teaching here in the American School for five years
now, and we have just signed on for one more. It's a wonderful working
environment with a very friendly, despite large staff. You also get a
real feeling of teamwork (work being the key word) with the grade levels
each having 7 or 8 teachers.
The lifestyle here in Monterrey is one that caters to the adventurous.
We work very hard during the day, so you have to find a release sometimes.
The mountains that surround the city provide beautiful hiking and mountain
biking, not to mention the canyon and it's rock climbing.
The staff here is very active both in and out of school with parties or
sports after school and on the weekends. There are several activities
for anyone to join in!
Alyson and I are so glad that we choose to move to Monterrey. It turned
out to be a great decision! The city, the school, administration and all
our friends are fantastic. This school has so much to offer. You put a
lot into it, but you get an awful lot in return!
