Mario Chioini
Elementary Librarian
2000-2006

January 2003.

Mario Chioini. Canadian. Experienced teacher. Wanted professional and personal growth. Got it at ASFM! Wow! What a treat. Third year already. México, corazón, tradición, Sierra Madre, historia, fiestas, desierto, pasión… hypnotic words that conjure up exotic dreams? Well, forget it! There’s too much work to really enjoy any of it.

Seriously, having the chance to be connected with the American School Foundation of Monterrey is a rare opportunity, and bathing in such an inspiring environment is like being on a very long, hot…working week-end. It is very busy, but yet still feels pretty darn good.

The school community as a whole, from the administration and staff to parents and students, invests a lot to maintain a very high-quality education. It is this constant professional aura permeating our daily activities that provides the backdrop to our wanting to continually contribute more. The support extends to outside the school walls to ensure that our stay in Mexico is memorable. You will find that the school provides incredible technical and human resources that will definitely facilitate your integration into your new life. Make the jump!

Hasta luego y salud.
(No bribes were offered or taken for this personal testimonial, although it would have been nice and welcomed!)
