I firmly believe what R. D. Hitchcock once quoted, that “it is a luxury to learn; but the luxury of learning is not to be compared with the luxury of teaching,” especially in a school such as ASFM.

There are many reasons why ASFM has become my favorite school and my best place for working. It is an inspiring school that brings out the best in everyone. Its members always go the extra mile in every project, assignment, or endeavor.

Here at ASFM lessons extend beyond the classroom and all types of challenges take place every day. Our school is a community of all sorts of hard workers and talented people who are strongly committed to excellence. How could your life not be positively influenced by them? I’m convinced that just by being among its students and teachers I have become a better person.

ASFM teachers are optimistic, wise, good educators who not only provide excellent academic training and encourage their students to learn but also go beyond the books, they genuinely care for their students and touch their hearts. There is so much I have learned from my colleagues and their teaching methods and strategies.

But above all, I love to be around the kids, they are genuine, creative, and active participants of their own learning process. They are one of my reasons to smile every morning. Working in Community Service, I have been involved in the creation and development of many successful projects that have had a great impact both on our students and our community. I have been able to dream on ideas of helping others and see those dreams become a reality, thanks to the support of everyone in the school. It has been great to see how our students are learning that they can make a difference in the lives of others; how they are understanding the importance of serving others with their hearts and souls; how they feel satisfied and proud of themselves when they get involved and help; how they are becoming more tolerant and responsible individuals.

As you can see, students not only learn academic knowledge at ASFM, but they are also preparing themselves for college, they are questioning the world and gaining culture, they are developing a sense of identity, they are becoming leaders, they are learning and developing abilities that will make them successful and outstanding individuals.

ASFM is certainly a school that is creating citizens of a better world and I’m very proud to be an eagle. If you are looking to work at an institution striving for excellence, don’t doubt it, ASFM is your place!
