I would highly recommend that you accept a job at ASFM. Working here has been an amazing and life altering experience for me. I can’t believe how quickly four years has passed and I consider myself fortunate to have been able to work here for that time. From the first moment I walked into this school it felt like home because ASFM is a tight-knit community of staff who are friendly and very approachable. The staff and teachers are incredibly knowledgeable and more than helpful. The layout of the school is warm and inviting. There is a feeling of family and a shared mentality of not only learning, but also improving the world in many different ways. I cannot say enough great things about ASFM, the talented and dedicated staff I have encountered, and the rich professional development this school has provided me with. ASFM has a nurturing educational environment with rigorous academic program. The modern facilities and beautiful grounds support the students to achieve personal excellence.

Monterrey is a city that has so much to offer since there is always something going on. You can join sport groups, rock climb, enjoy a nice restaurant, hike by a river, take painting classes, participate in a book club, play weekly scrabble, assist with community service, learn Spanish, tour museums, browse the markets or roam the cobble stone streets of the center of the city. There are many great opportunities to travel throughout Mexico and Latin America that are also easily attainable. You will be bonded for years to come with the people you encounter and build strong friendships with.

Working for ASFM has been a wonderful experience that has helped me to improve as a teacher and a person; it is a truly outstanding organization! I hope you make the decision to come and join the staff here. It will be a great international experience for you!

Warmest Regards,
Amey Law
