Transition to Middle School

When you first set foot on Campus 'La Huasteca', you will undoubtedly and immediately be impressed by the unequaled level of cooperation that exists among the teachers that comprise the award-winning Grade Six Team.

The school, of course, encourages this in all the Teams and Departments; however, the teachers in the B wing are renowned for their almost legendary ability to work and succeed together.

As a cohesive Team, we are proud of many things:

  • We believe that a crucial aspect of a successful Grade Six generation is the ability of the Team to establish clear expectations for ourselves and our students.
  • We take pride in our ability to share resources, information, talents, opinion and, yes, even snacks for our breaks!
  • The Grade Six Team keeps an open line of communication with parents through a variety of media. These include our school's web site, PowerSchool, the 'agenda', phone calls, personal notes, parent/teacher conferences, and others.

Whether you are a teacher, a student, a parent or an administrator, welcome to Grade Six at 'La Huasteca'.

Here we make a difference!
