Only
one word can sufficiently describe the Grade 8 Team of teachers:
excellence.
This
is what we ask of our students and it is also the standard
to which we hold ourselves accountable. We take our jobs seriously,
and for good reason - we are the teachers preparing your children
for the transition from middle school to high school.
To this
end, we are a caring team of professionals who develop a good
rapport with our students both inside and outside of the classroom.
Additionally,
not only do we communicate extensively with parents, but we
also meet at least twice weekly to discuss the progress of
our students and the homework we assign.
Furthermore,
we actively pursue professional development; all of our team
either possess a Master's degree or are working towards one.
The Eighth
Grade year is a year of challenges for middle school students,
and we are there to guide them and to help them find success
and satisfaction in their education.
