Educational Staff

Our school, like most overseas schools, completes its hiring in February and March for the following school year. There are several recruitment fairs held each year in February and March to match schools with teachers who wish to work abroad. We usually do our recruiting through UNI in Iowa, USA, the Teachers Latin American Fair in Houston, and at ISS (location changes). You can see our vacancy list below for recent postings. High School Learning Specialist Teacher

  • Responsible for caseload at HS grade levels as a member of a team of 5 MSHS Learning Specialists
  • Extensive knowledge and experience in US Special Education processes, procedures, interventions required
  • Training and experience with psychological testing and identification diagnostics a plus
  • Facilitate specific small group intervention programs in Reading, ELA, and Socials
  • Provide push-in and pull-out support for students
  • Design and deliver teacher training for differentiation and in-class strategies to meet the learning challenges of identified students (co- and team teaching model)
  • Embrace and promote the ASFM Strategic Plan goals toward increased inclusion
