Registration 2017-2018

    • Programs selected for each child.
    • Guardian's information (name, email and phone number)

    NURSERY AND PRE-KINDER

    Information to Consider
    • You can select only ONE program for your child. ASFM believes in a balanced lifestyle and appropriate age developmental standards. Therefore, parents must select between either Ballet or Skills Development or Gymnastics for their Nursery and Pre-Kinder children.
    • Registration for Athletics takes place between July 17 to 28.
    • Students in NURSERY practice motor skills and play developmental intramural games: 3-3 for Basketball and Soccer.
    • Students in PRE-KINDER practice motor skills and play developmental intramural games: 3-3 Basketball and 5-5 for Soccer.
    • A Nursery or Pre-Kinder student cannot participate in more than one program in a single day.
    • Actual practice time for Nursery and Pre-Kinder Skills Development Classes will be 45 minutes. This will start and end between the times listed above.

    KINDERGARTEN
    Information to Consider
    • A student can only participate in ONE sport.
    • Ballet can be combined with Basketball or Gymnastics. For more information on ballet click here.
    • A Kindergarten student cannot participate in more than one program in a single day, nor can the days be split across two programs.
    • There are no representative teams in Kindergarten. Students are placed on balanced teams.
    • Basketball plays in one 5-on-5 league.
    • Soccer plays in one 7-on-7 league.

    GRADES 1 TO 5
    Information to Consider
    • Students can register for a maximum of two sports per semester.
    • Grade 1 Soccer teams will play in 7 on 7 Leagues..
    • Avoid registering for two programs that are scheduled on the same day.
    • The flexible practice day on Fridays would represent a possible 3rd practice in a week. This possible 3rd practice will be determined by the team’s needs and the coach’s team evaluations. This applies to both the developmental and representative teams.
    • A student can be eligible for ASOMEX in Track and Field provided that she/he is registered in a sport in ASFM and is in good academic standing before the registration for a tournament.
    • In order to participate in Flag Football students must be registered in another sport and attend their required practices.
    • Flag Football does not count as a second or third sport.

    MSHS
    Information to Consider
    • Students can register for a maximum of two sports per semester.
    • A student can be eligible for ASOMEX in Track and Field provided that she/he is registered in a sport in ASFM and meets the required mark for the tournament.
    • In order to participate in Flag Football students must be registered in another sport and attend their required practices. Flag Football does not count as a second or third sport.
    • Students must attend practice a minimum of 3 days per week to be eligible for participation in games.
    • Tuesdays will be the MANDATORY OFF-DAY for students registered in MS/HS Basketball.
