When we learn; We thrive - Five years of strategic improvement 

As we conclude the 2019-2020 School Year and the fifth and final year of our Strategic Plan, I am proud to say that we have made great strides in the teaching and learning that takes place everyday throughout our amazing school. 

ASFM now uses a liberating, student centered, and authentic curriculum, which encourages student curiosity, agency, empathy, and independent personalized learning.  Our innovative, quality teachers bring this curriculum to life in many ways including the use of technology, cross-curricular projects and problem-based learning.

ASFM has optimized our programs and the services we provide and has become a more inclusive, values-based community. This encompasses a paradigm shift of the way we view and treat anyone who is different and unique. We are a welcoming community who embraces the uniqueness and traits of each individual, knowing that through acceptance our challenges become our strengths. 

ASFM is now committed to quality programs and student accessibility to those programs in the following key areas: Academics, Athletics, the Arts, Values, and Citizenship.  The school supports the design and enhancement of facilities, resources, and opportunities for student choice to ensure that all students have access to and are successful in their areas of passion, talent, and career pathways.

As a school, we are proud of who we are and what we offer to our entire community. We truly believe that when we learn, we thrive. I would like to thank the entire ASFM community for your trust, commitment, and dedication to the School and to each other.
