NURSERY
The Nursery program at the American School Foundation of Monterrey is planned for children who are 3.5 to 4.5 years old. This program provides a developmentally appropriate environment integrating the physical, socio-emotional, and cognitive areas.
Literacy is taught and learned through a balanced literacy program which allows students to read, write and discuss across the subject areas.
The mathematics program is based on the premise that children construct an understanding of mathematics by manipulation of concrete objects.
Instruction is taught thematically, taking into account of Nursery-aged children.
Students receive special classes in music and physical education.
PRE-KINDER
