Excellence Scholarship

Middle School students from 7th and 8th grade and High School students from 9th to 11th  grade may apply for a merit-based ASFM Excellence Scholarship. 

Students should:

• Demonstrate  excellence in Academics, Athletics, Arts, Community Service Learning, Innovation and/or Clubs.
• Achieve Academic GPA of 3.0.
• Have a great attendance record.
• Follow the code of conduct.
• Display excellent citizenship.
• Participate actively in helping our community. Completed required CSL hours for previous year.

Students should:

• Demonstrated excellence in Athletics, Arts, Community Service Learning, Innovation, or Clubs.
• Have an overall GPA Average of 3.0.
• Have a great attendance record.
• Follow the code of conduct.
• Follow the code of conduct.
• Display excellent citizenship.

The application process for the 2022-2023 ASFM Excellence Scholarship will be open from February 28 and will close at 10:00 p.m. on March 28, 2022.
No applications will be accepted after this date.

Those students interested in participating will need to submit an application and provide evidence of their performance in ASFM.

ASFM is offering 17 merit-based scholarships per grade from 8 to 12 grade. HIgh School students get 35% and Middle School students get 25%. 

10 for Academic, 2 for Arts, 2 for Athletics, 2 for Service Learning and 1 for Entrepreneurship and Innovation

Yes, you are welcome to do so.

No, however to be awarded with a scholarship based on academic achievement you need to be among the top ten  GPAs  in your generation. You will also need to comply with some requirements like displaying excellent citizenship, having a great attendance record, etc.

Unfortunately,  we don't know which students are in the top ten until the end of the school year. For this reason, we encourage students to apply for other merit-based scholarships. By doing so, you can have another chance to get an ASFM Excellence Scholarship.

No, ASFM Excellence Scholarships merit-based, including academic, are one year awards.

The MS and HS Committees will evaluate the applications and will decide the awardees. These Committees are anonymous.

All ASFM Excellence Scholarship awardees will be announced on June 15, 2022. You will receive a notification in your email.

No, scholarships are not renewable. ASFM Excellence Scholarships merit-based, including academic, are one year awards. You will have to apply every year.

The awards  will be deducted from the tuition.

No, only one of the two can be granted for one student.
