David Margain Sada - President
David Margáin graduated from ITESM in 1999 with a degree in Industrial and Systems Engineering. In 2006 he completed his Masters in Business Administration at Harvard Business School. He began his professional career in Vitro where he was a finance manager. He is now an entrepreneur and works at his own company.
David co-founded Soñar Despierto A.C., a youth association, which since its inception has benefited more than 500,000 children through its programs with the participation of 130,000 of young volunteers. Soñar Despierto currently has an international presence in 90 cities, in 13 countries around the world. He was President of the Harvard Club of Monterrey and Director for Latin America and Board Member of the Harvard Alumni Association.
Ana Caty Alvarez Tostado Rodríguez - First Vice President
Ana Caty, as her friends and teachers have called her since elementary, graduated from high school at ASFM in 2008. Ever since she was at school she’s been very involved in curricular and extracurricular activities, being a part of the soccer team from middle school all the way through high school, representing ASFM nationally and internationally. She has a Bachelor’s Degree in Business and International Tourism from the University of Monterrey, and loves to spend her days outdoors or traveling. She is part of the organizing staff of Score for a Cure, an annual soccer tournament that raises funds for Alianza Anticancer Infantil and is currently the Sales Manager at MARTEL.
Ana Caty is the head of the Generation Ambassadors Committee and the Alumni Relations Director, with whom you should feel free to connect and share any feedback about the Association.
Alexander Assad Kottner - Second Vice President
Alexander graduated from ASFM in 2000 (Nursery to Bach III) and went on to study Ingeniería Industrial y de Sistemas at ITESM, graduating in 2004. From 2004 to 2010 he worked for a Holding Group focused in International Commerce and Product Line Development. From 2010-2012 went on to study his MBA at Columbia University in New York. In 2012 he started 360 Trading Group, focused on International Commerce Solutions and generating alliances with major logistic companies. Currently 360 has evolved into a Consulting firm for International Commerce and Supply Chain Management focused in connecting the Mexican Market. Alexander has a strong passion for Entrepreneurship Development and is committed to helping others develop their potential imparting conferenced on the subject; in 2020 his book E3: Emprendedurismo a 3 Niveles was published. He is married to Marcela Lobo, an AFSM Alumni, and they are the proud parents of 2 boys, Bastian and Etien.
Analucía González Karam - Secretary
Analucia, known as Analu to many is a proud Eagle and has always liked to organize school events. She has a degree in Industrial Engineering from ITESM and a M.S. from SUNY. She currently works at ASFM as the Community Service Learning Coordinator. She has a passion for volunteer work and has always believed in the importance of helping others and giving back to the community in any way possible.
Diego Guzmán Treviño - Treasurer
Diego graduated from ASFM in 2007, continued his studies at Stanford University and at the IPADE Business School. He holds the CFA designation, CAIA designation, and is currently a partner at MG Capital, having previously worked at BlackRock in San Francisco. He is the proud father of three, and is deeply committed to giving back to the community
Marcela C. de la Garza Evia - ASFM Alumni and Development Coordinator
Marcela is the Alumni and Development Coordinator in ASFM. She is a former president of the ASFM-PTA and also served as a member of the ASFM Board of Directors for 12 years. Marcela holds a BA in Economics from ITESM, a Master in Business Administration from UDEM and a Certification in English to Spanish Translation from ITESM.
Brenda has been the ASFM Alumni Association assistant since 2018.
