David Margain Sada - President
David Margáin graduated from ITESM in 1999 with degree in Industrial and Systems Engineering. In 2006 he completed his Masters in Business Administration at Harvard Business School. He began his professional career in Vitro where he was a finance manager. He is now an entrepreneur and works at his own company.
David co-founded Soñar Despierto A.C., a youth association, which since its inception has benefited more than 500,000 children through its programs with the participation of 130,000 of young volunteers. Soñar Despierto currently has an international presence in 90 cities, in 13 countries around the world. He was President of the Harvard Club of Monterrey and Director for Latin America and Board Member of the Harvard Alumni Association.
First Vice President- Ricardo Villarreal Meyer
Ricky Villarreal graduated from ASFM in 2003 where he studied for 15 years from Nursery to Bach III and actively participated in Student Council, National Honor Society, Model United Nations Secretariat, AP Engineering, and was awarded the Benjamin Stephen Fordham Award in Bach III (2002). He graduated from Tecnológico de Monterrey with a Bachelor of Business Administration degree where he was president of PLEI (Programa de Liderazgo Empresarial Internacional) and studied abroad at New York University’s Leonard N. Stern School of Business. He is passionate about real estate, entrepreneurship, community leadership and learning.
Ricky is a partner and co-founder at PROSPERIA, a real estate consulting firm specializing in market analysis and financial structuring of real estate development projects. He also co-founded Puertas Abiertas ABP a non profit which helped people with disabilities find jobs and founded CAPROBI Próxima Generación, the under 35 group of the Cámara de Propietarios de Bienes Raíces de Nuevo León. He is an active member of EO Entrepreneurs' Organization – Monterrey Chapter, and currently holds the Co-Chair of the “Young Leaders” group for ULI
(Urban Land Institute) Mexico and serves in the boards of CAPROBI and CEGS Centro Eugenio Garza Sada, as well as in the Management Committee of ULI Mexico.
Alexander Assad Kottner - Second Vice President
Alexander graduated from ASFM in 2000 (Nursery to Bach III) and went on to study Ingenieria Industrial y de Sistemas at ITESM, graduating in 2004. From 2004 to 2010 he worked for a Holding Group focused in International Commerce and Product Line Development. From 2010-2012 went on to study his MBA at Columbia University in New York. 2012 he started 360 Trading Group, focusing on International Commerce Solutions; in 2014 he partnered with Pak2Go Logistics. He is currently offering International Commerce Consulting and Operative Services focused in connecting the Mexican Market. Alexander has a strong passion for Entreprenurship Development and is committed helping others develop their potential. He is married to Marcela Lobo, an AFSM Alumni, and they are the proud parents of a 1 year old boy of name Bastian.
Diego Guzmán Treviño - Treasurer
Diego graduated from ASFM in 2007 and continued his studies at Stanford University and at the IPADE Business School. He holds the CFA designation and is currently a partner at MG Capital, having previously worked at BlackRock in San Francisco. He is the proud father of two (soon to be three) and is deeply committed to giving back to the community.
Analucía González Karam - Secretary
Analucia, known as Analu to many is a proud Eagle and has always liked to organize school events. She has a degree in Industrial Engineering from ITESM and a M.S. from SUNY. She currently works at ASFM as the Community Service Learning Coordinator. She has a passion for volunteer work and has always believed in the importance of helping others and giving back to the community in any way possible.
Ana Catalina Álvarez Tostado Rodríguez - Alumni Relations
Ana Caty, as her friends and teachers have called her since elementary, graduated from high school at ASFM in 2008. Ever since she was at school she’s been very involved in curricular and extra-curricular activities, being a part of the soccer team from middle school all the way through high school, representing ASFM nationally and internationally. She has a Bachelors Degree in Business and International Tourism from the University of Monterrey, and loves to spend her days outdoors or traveling. Ana Caty is the Alumni Relations Director for the ASFM Alumni Association, with whom you should feel free to connect and share any comments or doubts about the Association.
