PRESCHOOL AND ELEMENTARY SCHOOL

Thursday, August 9th

Pre-Kinder to Grade 5 NEW parents orientation at 6:00 pm at the Elementary Multipurpose room (Parents only)

Carpool Placard Pickup takes place in the cafeteria from 11:00 to 3:30

Elementary Class Lists are sent by email and published on the website: www.asfm.edu.mx/classlists


Friday, August 10th

Supply drop off day for Pre-Kinder to Grade 5 students
- Visit their classroom to meet the teachers and drop off materials. Scheduled time for each family based on the first letter of the students' last name:
11:00 - A, B, J, K, L, R, S, T, U
12:00 - C, D, E, M, N, O, Y, Z
1:00 - F, G, H, I, P, Q, V, W, X
Teachers will inform parents where children will be picked up on the first day of school.

Monday, August 13th

Supply drop off day for Nursery students.
Students meet their teachers and drop off materials. Visits will be scheduled for each family

Pre-Kinder to Grade 5 First Day of School. Students need to be on campus by 7:50 am.


Tuesday, August 14th

Nursery First Day of School.

Students will be arriving at 8:30am on the first day, to give parents the opportunity to walk their children to the classroom. Dismissal will be at 1:00pm.

MIDDLE / HIGH SCHOOL

Thursday, August 9th

All new students should attend. Schedules will be distributed. Students are required to bring their own laptop for this session. Students in Grades 10-12 Math courses need to bring their graphing calculator, (TI nspire CX CAS).

Note: All new students in Middle or High School, please bring a copy of official transcripts from previous institution and plan to meet with your Counselor in the counseling office if needed.

Middle School New Student Orientation - (including 6th graders).
G6-G8 - New students please meet in C104 at 8:30am-12:00pm.

High School New Student Orientation
G9-G12 - New students please meet in the black box at 1:30pm-3:30pm.

New Parents Orientation
All new parents please meet in the MSHS Library 7:00pm-8:30pm.This is an important information-gathering event that we highly recommend attending, for parents only.


Friday, August 10th

Please bring a copy of your official transcript from the previous institution and plan to meet with the Counseling Department at the MS/HS Campus.

Counselors for G6-9 will be available for schedule advising from 1:30pm-3:30pm in the Counseling office.

Counselors for G10-12 will be available for schedule advising from 9:00am-12:00pm in the Counseling office.

Monday, August 13th - First day of school

MS/HS grades 6th to 12th - please arrive prior to 8:05 a.m., classes start at 8:10 a.m.
8:00-10:00 a.m. 6th Grade Parent Orientation MS/HS Auditorium. This is orientation for all 6th grade parents and students.
10:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. 6th Grade Student Orientation First day of School, this is a campus walk-through, drop off supplies, meet the teachers etc. for 6th grade students only.
